Name: [first and last] Aithne Kelly

Age and Year: 13, 3rd

Biography: Aithne had a pretty normal life, two wizard parents who loved her unconditionally and many friends both magical and muggle. But everything changed when the fire nation attacked However her father did hold hatred for the muggles his daughter affiliated with. One day he attacked one of the families, fed up with having to fake friendship with them, and Aithne and her mother ran away. Aithne grew up with her mother in an apartment in Diagon Alley, what her father had done since her mother refused to talk about him. When she received her Hogwart's letter her mother was thrilled and she spent her first two years at the school. During that time things were normal, she was excellent in her lessons, made many new friends, and practiced to join Gryffindor's quidditch team. The only negative things about her time were the many sneers about her being a blood traitor.

Personality: Aithne is incredibly kind and compassionate. She is never seen without a smile and is always lending a helping hand. But she does have a temper. She won't snap at being made fun of or bullied but if any of this happens to her friends she will fight whoever made them upset. She is also really smart and the sorting hat was very close to placing her in Ravenclaw but he said her undying loyalty was what placed her in her house.

Name: [first and last] Rosaline “Rosie” Averill

Age and Year: 16/6th Year

Biography: Rosie was born to two Muggles just east of London on June 3rd, 1983 to Marisol Averill and Alfie Bradley. Her mother and father were unmarried and relatively poor, so her home life was already quite unstable. Her father lost his jobs often and therefore succumbed to stress; when she was very young, Rosie’s father became an avid alcoholic. Fortunately, he never physically harmed Rosie or her mother, but the effects alcoholism had on him were forever mentally scarring.

When she was five, he passed away from failed surgery. A mere three months later, Rosie’s mother found a new partner - a rich businessman named Thomas Blackenwell. They were soon married and then brought into the richer suburbs of central London, where Rosie then spent the next four years.

Upon her 9th birthday, Thomas and her mother filed a divorce. By then, Rosie was presented with a younger half-sister named Avery Blackenwell. Unlike Rosie, she was a Muggle.

When Rosie turned 10, her magical oddities began to show: When she was upset, objects would combust. Strange events would happen up her sudden flares of emotion, which scared her mother to death. Very soon after these episodes began to occur, Rosie was sent to an all girl’s correctional academy, where she would be until the next year, on her 11th birthday.


Personality: ESFP (extroverted, sensing, feeling, and perceiving) Rosie is known well for her vigor, unquenchable passion, and thirst for adventure. Although intelligent, Rosie tends to think in a “spiderweb pattern” — this means that she often ends a thought before it is complete and moves on to the next one. She’s attracted to new ideas, creations, and people. She grows restless very quickly and always desires definitive answers and solutions. Everything in Rosie’s life seemingly has to be concrete due to the constant shifts in her past. She has to enjoy with what she is participating in order for her to truly be involved. Undoubtedly, she is one of the most colorful 6th years within Hogwarts.

Character Strengths: Rosie has excellent stamina and energy. She also exceeds in agility and speed. Non-magic wise, she’s socially very talented and very charismatic and extroverted.

Character Weaknesses: Rosie is weak in strategic planning and stealth. She’s also poor in focusing, and she’s an extremely spontaneous, stubborn, and impulsive thinker.

House: Gryffindor

Other: She has a black cat named Alfie, named after her father. She is also the Seeker for the Gryffindor Quidditch team.

Biography: Astra grew up a very fortunate life with a wealthy family. Both of her parents were wizards and attended Hogwarts, her father being in Slytherin, and her mother in Ravenclaw. She has the looks and brains of her mother, but the attitude and ambition of her father. Mr. Clakett currently works for the Ministry of Magic in the department of Magical games and sports. Mrs. Clackett is a stay at home mom.

Personality: Astra is ambitious and cunning as most Slytherin's are. She is also very witty and intelligent. To put it simply she is the type of person who just doesn't put up with anybody else's shit.

Character Strengths: She is both athletic and intelligent and overall a well rounded student. She is loyal to those who she calls friends and isn't afraid to fight back. She is very skilled in her magical abilities and confident in who she is.

Character Weaknesses: One of Astra's biggest fears is disappointing her parents. She holds grudges that last a life time and often times she just acts before thinking about the situation. She is also very impatient and that can get her in trouble

House: Slytherin

Name: Adrian Maddox

Age and Year: 16/6th Year

Biography: Adrian Maddox was born on September 3rd, 1984 to Roderick and Bethany Maddox of Brecon, Wales. The Maddox family had existed for centuries in this region, originally hailing from the nearby village of Scethrog as a line of renowned lords (and experienced magicians). The last Lord of Scethrog left his old home for Maryland in the mid-1600s, after hearing the promise of land and opportunity. Just a century later, Matthew Maddox served for the Patriots in the American Revolution, fighting against the red-coated magicians. Years later, William Maddox (Matthew's son) returned to Wales in 1808 for genealogy purposes, and his family stayed in Brecon ever since, taking a great interest in the Ministry of Magic for decades to come. Several of Adrian's great-grandfathers were Unspeakables, for example, while others served on the Wizards' Council.

Roderick Maddox, a hit wizard for the Magical Law Enforcement Squad, and Bethany Rosewood, a promising dragonologist (and hopeful future professor at Hogwarts), met on February 14th, 1982, during a Valentine's Day celebration at the local pub. Bethany, a Muggle-born wizard, had taken a liking to Roderick during their time at Hogwarts - however, as the latter was two years older than the former, Bethany never found the courage to ask the Gryffindor out on a date. After four years, however, she finally saw her chance and took it. They were married almost a year later, on February 5th, 1983, at the Brecon Cathedral. Despite the Maddox's long line of pure-bloods, they were more than welcome to the addition of Bethany in the family. They have three children - Adrian being the oldest, with Hazel born on January 15, 1987 and Marcus born on December 22, 1988. Adrian attended a private, yet inexpensive school in town up until the age of ten. The summer following his last year of private school, he received his letter from Hogwarts, much to the delight of his parents. Adrian was just excited to finally meet young wizards like himself - he adored his muggle friends, but was ready to live up to his family name.

Many members of the Maddox Family were known as "Wand Whisperers" - their skills with wands of any kind, even defective ones, were hardly matched. Such knowledge of wand care and spell use led many to becoming Ravenclaws within their lifetimes. Therefore, Adrian's wand choice would be one of uniqueness - as the wand chooses the owner, the wand would have to be of exceptional quality. The wand given was a rarity to be owned - bristlecone pine (4,000 years of age) with phoenix feather core, 12.75 inches, slightly springy. Ollivander himself noted the unusual choice, saying very few in his lifetime had come to own a wand like that.

Throughout the past few years at Hogwarts, Adrian has shown himself to be a promising "Wand Whisperer" - for example, when he misplaced his own wand (losing objects is an unfortunate habit of his), he borrowed one from someone else until he got his own back. Though it turned out to be split down the middle, Adrian still managed to hold it together long enough to Accio his wand back. Skills with wands and other magical artifacts existed within the Maddox family tree for more than a thousand years - though it's not known where this apparent gene comes from, it can be assumed that the Maddox's either made wands, studied or made magical objects, or are perhaps descended from many powerful bloodlines. Whatever the case may be, this inherited ability has given Adrian an advantage in his academics, setting the bar high for his younger siblings (who are less than thrilled by his success).

Name: Judal Al-Thamen

Age and Year: 6th Year

Biography: Born in Saudi Arabia, Judal's mother was a British wizard who fell in love with his father, a handsome, smart, and charming muggle. He learned both English and Arabic and is fluent in both, but when he found out he was a wizard and received his letter from Hogwarts, he was in for quite a culture shock. Everything was different, and although his parents took him to the train station, he was still very nervous and made almost no friends until the end of the year. Since then, he's been growing out of his shell, but becoming the social person he is now wasn't easy. He became the Ravenclaw prefect due to his ability to easily communicate and lead, as well as his exemplary work ethic.

Personality: A very strong-willed, driven person, Judal is a great leader but it also makes him a stubborn person who doesn't change their mind easily. He believes he's almost always, if not always right, and will try to prove it in almost any way he can. He's naturally friendly and fun to be around, but he has a dark side to him that appears whenever he feels that someone is trying to purposely surpass him or has ill intentions towards him. Due to his superiority complex, he's actually very shallow and proud once you get to know him, but he's never been an intimate person and only allows him to see the kind and warm facade he puts up.

Intelligence - As a member of Ravenclaw, known for their wits and studiousness, Judal exemplifies this as a very knowledgeable wizard on all sorts of matters. He's able to figure out complex situations with ease and is not to be trifled with when it comes to

Socializing - Believe it or not, Judal is actually equally as comfortable learning as he is socializing. He's realized that there's much to learn from those with experience, and he's learned how to deal with people. He can, however, be a bit manipulative at times.

Magical Prowess - Although he will avoid conflict unless he deems it necessary, all his knowledge and intelligence makes him a very powerful wizard. Not necessarily in the strength of his spells, although he isn't lacking there, but in the technique he uses.

Character Weaknesses:

Morality - Judal is not one to distinguish between good and bad; all he cares for is knowledge. This can lead to bad decisions and to dark places, but he usually tends to keep from fighting, thinking of it as distracting.

Superiority Complex - Knowing all that he does, he can get a bit full of himself to say the least. Although he is usually friendly, things change when someone else does better than him.

Grudge - If Judal feels slighted or personally victimized, he can hold a silent grudge for a very long time.

Other: He's the Prefect! Also, due to being from Saudi Arabia, his wand is not from Ollivander's; it's made of silver lime, but instead of a core the magic is powered and focused by a ruby at the tip of the wand. His pet is a white and black Barn Owl (Tyto alba) named Rukh.

Name: Teagan O'Malley

Age and Year: 16, 6th

Biography: Teagan O'Malley was a angelwith orange hair sent straight from God No, but really. Teagan is the daughter of of two Irish magizoologist, and former Ravenclaw Head Boy and Head Girl, and the sister of another former Ravenclaw Head boy. Convinced their daughter would follow in their footsteps, they were furious when she was sorted into Hufflepuff. Often, she spends her Summers at friend's houses, avoiding her parents at all costs, as anytime she is around them, she is forced to read chapter upon chapter form books about care of magical creatures, with her brother as her teacher. She is a bit of a teacher's pet, an irritation to many Ravenclaws (including her parents.)

Personality: Teagan is kind to a fault; doing all she can to please those she cares for. Her loyalty is stronger than any bond, a huge reason why it was so hard to begin to let go of her parents. She makes friends very easily, but can become irritated very quickly, and is very skeptical about anything pertaining to rule breaking. The rejection from her parents has also caused her to become very self-sufficient and independent.

Name: Katherine Yvonne Warwick

Age and Year: Despite being 16, Katherine is only in her fourth year at Hogwarts due to having repeated her first year and having been unable to attend during the 1997-98 school year due to her blood status.

Biography: Until her acceptance at Hogwarts, Katherine lived a quiet and unexceptional life as the only child of a middle-class London family. The only point of interest was a single day, June 26, 1995; Katherine was missing for almost twenty-four hours, and while she was found unharmed, she remembered absolutely nothing of what occurred. Later that summer, Katherine began showing signs of magical aptitude by performing accidental magic, and Muggle Studies professor Charity Burbage was dispatched to deliver her acceptance letter, explain the nature of the magical world to her and her parents, and help Katherine prepare for her first year at Hogwarts. That was where the problems began.

Katherine’s before-school shopping ran aground when she visited Ollivander’s to be matched with a wand—or, in Katherine’s case, to fail to be matched. Out of all of the wands in the great craftsman’s shop, not one would accept her as its master. Over the following days, Ollivander wrote to every other master wandmaker he knew, many of whom sent back advice or even sample wands for Katherine to try. Nothing worked, and Katherine was forced to enter Hogwarts wandless.

The problems only continued at sorting, when Katherine was placed in Ravenclaw. While she was intelligent—indeed, many of her professors described her as the most naturally talented student they had ever had at magical theory—Katherine’s lack of a wand severely hampered her practical use of magic, much to the embarrassment and scorn of her Housemates. This particularly impacted her grades in Charms, Transfiguration, and Defense Against the Dark Arts, and while Professors Flitwick and McGonagall did their best to be accommodating, Dolores Umbridge was not so understanding, likely due to Katherine’s blood status. As a result, while she did well in the wholly theoretical class, she completely failed the practical portion of her DADA exam and was forced to repeat her first year.

The next year, Katherine performed better, likely due to Umbridge being replaced as DADA Professor by Snape. Katherine had always performed well in potions, and while the Slytherin Head was by no means gentle or kind—more than once, Katherine found herself sobbing alone in the bathroom after his class—he gave her good marks in the class, perhaps better than she deserved, and pushed her, in his own dysfunctional way, to live up to her potential. That year exams were canceled due to the murder of Headmaster Dumbledore, so it's unknown if Katherine would have passed. The following year, Katherine was unable to attend Hogwarts at all because of the You-Know-Who-controlled Ministry’s policy forbidding Muggleborns, though she continued to study magic on her own in the hopes that, should she eventually be able to return to school, she might be able to avoid being forced to repeat another year. This hope was borne out the following year, when she managed to pass her second year exams and move on to her third year.

In the 1999-2000 school year, Katherine applied to be part of the Hogwarts delegation to the 1999 Triwizard Tournament at the Beauxbatons Academy, mostly to avoid her regular classes and exams, and was accepted. As she was not actually at Hogwarts for most of the year, learning instead from the Beauxbatons teachers and the few Hogwarts professors who had made the trip, she was exempt from exams and passed easily into her fourth year.

Character Strengths: Katherine has a grasp of magical theory far beyond her years. Indeed, advanced knowledge often seems to just come to her out of nowhere, leading to an incredible and seemingly effortless performance on theoretical assignments.

Character Weaknesses: For an unknown reason, Katherine is completely unable to master a wand; indeed, the fact that she is able to perform any sort of magic at all wandlessly at her age is nothing short of remarkable. However, she is severely lacking compared to her wand-wielding peers, and at best only half as strong as she should be in the practical application of magic. As a result, she has found herself bullied, with some of Hogwarts’ less savory students privately alleging that she couldn’t really be considered a witch at all.

House: Ravenclaw

Other: In her second—technically third—year, Katherine played as a Chaser on Ravenclaw’s Quidditch team, a position she hopes to resume in the coming year, though she secretly worries she may be forced to drop the sport to focus on her classes.

Katherine has a great horned owl named Bubo after the mechanical owl in Clash of the Titans.

Katherine idolizes Andros the Invincible, one of the most powerful—and famously wandless—wizards in history, and is known to keep her copy of his Chocolate Frog Card on her person at all time.

Katherine's electives are Study of Ancient Runes and Arithmancy. She also has special daily tutoring in wandless magic with Professor McGonagall.

Name: Aldrich Kallias

Age and Year: 16 and 6th

Biography: Aldrich Kallias was born on August 7th to Cora and Insley Kallias in the center of English culture, London. The name Kallias carried around a dual meaning in the wizarding world. Even though the Kallias family were pure bloods with a proud and noble history that began with many famous Greek wizards, their name was considered to be synonymous with the phrase blood traitors. Ever since the first Kallias, the house has had a long tradition of service to muggles with the use of their magical abilities. Such projects began back in 400 BC at the height of the Golden Age of Greece with the family being prominent healers in Epidaurus. It was soon believed that the members of the house were demigods sent as a blessing by Asclepius, the Greek god of healing. This elevated position carried extreme social power and prominence for the family. However, they never lost sight of their goals and aims in their mission to the people.

His father was a high ranking ministry official in the Department of International Magical Cooperation and his mother, a noted novelist, wrote books of fantastical tales that she then sold in both muggle and wizard bookshops across the world. Both Insley and Cora were Hufflepuffs in their time at Hogwarts when they met one another. On the day Aldrich was born a mysterious package arrived in the post addressed to the new member of the Kallias house. It contained a wand made of the most delicate olive wood with a core of Chimera Scale and an inflexible nature. The scale was harvested by Octavian Kallias, the first Kallias, when he defeated a Chimera eons ago. The package also included a note sealed with a crude wax mark, unable to be opened until the seventeenth birthday of Aldrich. The wand was largely forgotten for the most part of his childhood years and stored in the family vault along with the letter. Every year on August 7th, the wax seal on the letter would diminish ever so slightly. Upon asking his paternal grandmother what it all meant in crowded halls of Saint. Mungo’s, he was greeted only with silence and discouragement. Archives and records of the most comprehensive wand lists in history made no name of a wand of olive and chimera scale. It was almost like history itself was trying to erase a record of the wand from every arcane text and human memory. Ever since his quest began Aldrich has been yearning to know what the letter holds for him.

His parents sent Aldrich to muggle elementary school before his entrance into Hogwarts. He made many muggle friends that were greeted openly and lovingly by his parents. Upon entering Ollivanders while walking Diagon Alley in preparation for school, he asked the gaunt, elderly man about the wand in his possession. Garrick Ollivander spun a tale of romance and ruin that captured Aldrich’s attention and refused to let go.  

The tale began with Octavian Kallias and his construction of the wand. Octavian was taken with a senator's young daughter named Eris. However, no matter how much power he demonstrated, Eris never took interest in the young healer from Epidaurus. It wasn’t until he constructed his wand that power hungry Eris finally took note. The couple was wed almost immediately with the blessing of her father. After a few months of relative peace in the marriage, things turned violent. Eris, a muggle herself, stole the wand believing that she could use and harness its power to be as strong as the gods. The wand backfired horribly and destroyed the fair young woman where she stood. Octavian was devastated to see his love destroyed by an object he created. It was from then on that he vowed to marry a fellow wizard alone so that they could understand his world not from the outside but from the inside.  This simple practice began the pure blooded nature of the Kallias line. Ollivander told the young wizard that after Octavian’s death, the wand disappeared from the face of the earth.

After that tale Aldrich held his wand closer to him. He began to look forward to seeing the wax diminish on the dark parchment every year just to see the message that awaited him. He knew that the message that will be revealed is one that will change everything.

Personality: “Look like the innocent flower, but be the Serpent underneath it.”

Aldrich is a conundrum to anyone he interacts with. He appears to be a boy with a sparkling sense of humour and a quick smile always ready to please. In fact, he appears to be a sunflower fluttering in the warm summer breeze, oblivious to all things that come around him that do not pertain to friendship and kindness. However, he only appears to be the way he is as a trick to everyone around him. As you joke and laugh with him, he steals every detail about your life and your personality to use later against you. He lures you in with generous smiles and promises of warmth only to take it way once he gets what he wants.

However, such tactics don’t mean he is truly devoid of warmth and friendship. He feels very strongly about his friends and family and is always seen truly smiling in their company. Maybe that freedom in front of them comes from the fact they have nothing to offer him anymore than he has. The same can not be said for every other person he meets. Everyone has something to offer, even if they would rather not do so. With a few disarming smile and childish giggles, he finds people starting to become more and more comfortable with him.

Aldrich and his strange obsession with achievement began on the first day of first grade at a muggle academy in Central London. The teacher had a small spelling quiz on words relating to summer. He was the  only one who scored a 100 on the quiz. From then on school and sports became a place to earn glory and recognition. Aldrich was never interested in the learning process of school for the benefit of having knowledge and creativity. He loved the part of school where his marks soared above his other classmates. Sports were never about personal fitness or athleticism. They were about winning against others alone.  

His family’s acceptance and service to Muggles taught Aldrich personally  that everyone had something to offer him in his quest for power. He tended to reflect on what he does before he even begins to act to achieve it. Each move is as calculated as a game of chess against an unknowing opponent. His drive and determination towards a career of prominence in the Ministry became his singular focus during his time at Hogwarts.  

An issue Aldrich found in his first year was making friends he actually cared about. Most people were disposable after the initial promises of friendship during the years at Hogwarts.  Even if the conversations were fake and without true sincerity, Aldrich longed for social stimulation and companionship. He could always be seen talking to as many people as possible. The boy with the charming smiles became an expert at juggling multiple conversations and issues simultaneously.  An interesting note about how Aldrich stops his friendship with people he no longer sees as useful is how gentle he is. He doesn’t do it be cruel or spiteful to the people who aided him.

The traditionally Hufflepuff Kallias family was shocked to see such ambition on their own house members eager face. They saw ambition and determination as a hindrance to truly helping those in need of aid. After multiple grumblings from distant relatives about Aldrich and the trap of cunning and guile, his parents grew uneasy but never deterred from having a relationship with their only son. Aldrich became incredibly thankful to his family for being able to see ambition wasn’t the ruin to a functioning world.

Name: [first and last] Cassidy “Cass” Belduke

Age and Year: 11, 1st

Biography: Cass was never really liked. Her parents disliked her since they had been hoping for one last boy but instead receiving a tiny little girl. Her 3 older brothers and 2 older sisters always picked on her since she was so small and easy to bully. She never was able to make many friends since she was shy, not liking attention because of her home life. As she grew she stayed strong, always trying to see things on the bright side but sometimes it just wouldn’t work. She showed magical power later than most which terrified her mother who only wanted magical children and feared her husband’s muggle blood had tainted her child. When she did finally receive her letter her mother was relieved but still treated her no differently. Now she is headed off to Hogwarts and hopes to make new friends and better memories than the ones she has now.

Personality: Cass is very sad most of the time, but tries her best to put on a smile. She rarely talks, especially in class even though she is fairly smart. She isn’t used to kindness, so when it is shown she gets confused but eventually she can get used to it.

Character Strengths: Since she is so quiet it is easy for her to be sneaky. Even though the signs came late she is incredibly skilled with magic. She is agile and quick because of her size and age.

Name: Spider Brint

Age and Year: 15, 5th year

Biography: Spider, whose real name is far more dull and therefore is rarely brought to light, was born in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, to a muggle mother and a secret dark wizard father. Said father was executed by another Death Eater when he got too power-greedy, and Spider became man of the house. Spider seems to keep this to himself though, and doesn't really let it get to him. His mother was over the moon when he received his letter to Hogwarts and writes to him frequently. Spider has no siblings or other family to speak of; his mother is all he has.

Personality: Spider is the sort to stay quiet until his witty remark will merit the most laughs. He is somewhat shy, only the slightest bit daring, and has a charming sense of humour. Although a Slytherin, he is a fiercely loyal friend and is known to take young Hufflepuffs under his wing.

Biography: Ruby Simon thought she was a normal for ten years. All her life her mother had kept her away from all things magical since she thought it was the reason her beloved husband died. He died in the second wizarding war at the hands of Bellatrix Lestrange. For ten years she was kept away, and for ten years she was picked on and bullied for being different. Though her mom still kept the secret that she was a witch. Until the day a letter flew in the door about Ruby being accepted into Hogwarts. Ruby kept bombarding her mother with questions. Eventually she sat her down and told her all about wizardry and how her father was one of the bravest men alive and a proud Hufflepuff. After two month of begging to go her mother finally agreed and sent her to the school in the middle of first year.


Personality: Ruby Simon is sarcastic and creative. She believes that the arts are the best way of expression. She's amazing at drawing and can play 4 different instruments. She exceeds in school and always exceeds expectation. She also doesn't put up with crap. She always stands up for her friends and stands with what she believes in. Though she doesn't have many friends since she doesn't  easily trust. Usually people think she's just rude but really she's just being sarcastic. Though she's still happy with the little she has.
